Overpriced and underwhelming
I understand that this is a super-premium brand but I can't get over the ridiculous price of this serum. I am not averse to splurging on skincare but this is another level and if you are going to pay over £300 for a 30ml serum it had better perform miracles to justify its cost! I got the 15ml in last year's advent calendar and I have enjoyed using it as it was nicely hydrating and the fancy packaging looks beautiful on my vanity and... really that's it - there is nothing outstanding about it and I can get something equivalent for much MUCH less money.

I received this serum as part of the 2024 SpaceNK advent calendar. I really enjoy using this serum, I find that it is very light weight and absorbs in quickly. It has a faint pleasant scent. The packaging is very luxurious also. However, due to the price I do not think I would repurchase this product.

Although it is a bit expensive, it is excellent. The serum has a lightweight, smooth texture, absorbs quickly, and provides instant and lasting deep hydration, making the skin feel softer and more elastic, and visibly reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The light consistency makes it suitable for all skin types, and it feels very comfortable when used with the matching cream. My skin is dry and I love it. I believe it’s useful for anti-aging.

Nice
I received this product in last years Space NK advent calendar. To use the product (experientially and psychologically) was a treat as the packaging is lovely and I know that it is a really expensive product, so when using it I allowed myself to buy into a bougie princess moment. The serum goes on lovely and left my skin feeling nice. Unfortunately I did not see a dramatic enough difference that I would pay the full price for it. It may be that you might notice more results with longer use? I feel that there are other serums that even on application I feel do more for my particular skin instantly. So, overall, nice product but not wow enough for me to pay full price.

Luxury Skincare I Wouldn’t Normally Buy
I was delighted to receive The Serum in the SpaceNK Advent Calendar, as it’s not something I would have purchased for myself. The texture is beautifully lightweight and absorbs effortlessly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. While I haven’t seen dramatic results yet, I appreciate the opportunity to experience such a luxurious product as part of my skincare routine. It feels like a true indulgence, and perhaps with continued use, the benefits will become more visible.

I want to dislike Augustine Bader products, just because the price point is so ridiculous, but there’s also only one product of theirs I’ve ever tried that I haven’t loved, and unfortunately, it’s not this serum. It’s really just such a lovely serum, and consistent use has my skin looking and feeling sooo good. It’s very lightweight and absorbs into skin so well, but is still very hydrating and I don’t know how to say it, but overall my skin just started looking better and better. I still wouldn’t personally purchase it at this price, but if I ever caught it on a good sale I might be tempted.

I used a trial of this serum with the AB Cream for about a fortnight. It was pleasant to use, absorbed easily and didn't irritate my skin but I didn't really notice as much improvement in the feeling of my skin as I'd hoped. Given the price of full size products, I'm not to purchase.

The Serum is an excellent skincare product especially for use around the eyes, the container that holds the vial can accommodate .5 to 1 oz vials and no larger. While it's a nice look on your skincare table, it's really an unnecessary expense unless you get the 1 oz serum included in the purchase, which I did.
