I’ve used plenty of gel eye patches before and I have to say, this takes the cake. They are so lightweight, cooling and illuminating. Sadly the price stops me from using these in my daily routine (I would if I could!) but if you’re planning a pamper night, I definitely recommend going for these. They are incredibly comfortable, they don’t slip down and you genuinely cannot feel them on your face (apart from the cooling effect). Love love love, just wish they were slightly more affordable!

Tired eyes
I was hesitant to try these, given the premium price, but the Augustinus Bader Eye Patches are absolutely worth the investment. From the moment I applied them, I could feel the difference. Not that great. Doesn’t do much. There are better and cheaper choices
To expensive
I find the Augustinus Bader eye patches quite ordinary. The effect is the same as most others — cooling, reducing puffiness, and providing some hydration. I didn’t notice any miracles. The price is way too high, and there are plenty of more affordable alternatives that work just as well.

Just not worth it
Ok… I’ll caveat I’m not sure I’ve ever found an eye mask that is… but these are super expensive and I honestly don’t think they are worth it. Don’t think I saw a lot of difference. Nothing my usual eye cream doesn’t do anyway. Skin underneath my eyes did feel a bit softer/brighter but that can be achieved through more cost effective means in my view.

Essential!
These very convenient and easy to use eye patches are an essential weekly night time ritual to prepare the sensitive eye area for the working week ahead. They are soothing and hydrating and allow for a 20 minutes relation whilst they take effect, and leave the skin ready for the night time rich eye cream application, from the same brand. Once a week is optimum, if used with the day eye cream and night cream as part of the eye care routine. This makes the cost justifiable.

I received these in an advent calendar and although they were a great treat to be able to try I could never justify the price for them. They do help to reduce puffiness and hydrate the under eye area but there are similar much more reasonably priced brands products that do the same. Heat to try but not to buy.
