I received the kitchen-aid cast iron roasting pan about a month ago and I absolutely love it. The food cooks evenly, I haven't had anything stick to it, and I like that you can also use it in the oven.

I love this pan. Not only is from a trusted name, it's beautiful in color and construction. It's heavy duty! Cooks evenly and makes the most delicious dishes. This is like a classic cast iron but more easily cared for.

Excellent roasting
I have been using this KitchenAid - 2.5-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Au Gratin Roasting Pan for several weeks now and I am very happy with how great my roasted dishes turn out. I love that I get even tempeture cooking through out and I love that this is just the right size for a lot of my dishes.

Wonderful pan.
I have always liked cast iron and this pan makes it very easy to make multiple dishes all in one place. It makes it easy to clean as well since you do not have to dirty up other pots and pans. I would recommend.

YOU NEED THIS!
I got the KitchenAid - 2.5-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Au Gratin Roasting Pan and I use it for everything! Or at least I try to. This roasting pan is great for anything in the oven! My favorite use is to do my steaks on the stove, then finish them off in the oven in this roasting pan. It’s easy to clean up and things don’t stick to it!! Very low maintenance!

Love it
I really enjoy using this dish. I've never had a cast iron pan other than the 75 year old one that my husband's grandmother gave us and it was quite heavy and rusty, so I never used it. I trust the KitchenAid brand and have no qualms about using this roasting pan. It did not disappoint!

Another great Kitchenaid product!
The cast iron roasting pan isn’t bulky and the perfect size for our family of three. Seasoning is not required and it is ready to use right out of the box. This is my first cast iron pan and I was surprised by how heavy it is! Not only is it pretty heavy, it is also very sturdy and durable, with a lip beneath the handles to assure you have a good grip when wearing kitchen gloves to handle the hot pan. It takes a while to heat up, but once it is heated up, it cooks the food evenly, and retains the heat. Meatballs, the first dish I’ve cooked in the cast iron pan, came out juicy on the inside with a nice sear on the outside. The cheese on top was melted to perfection and the dish stayed sizzling hot for quite some time after being taken out of the oven. Since the pan is one solid piece, without any ridges, is very easy to clean. I usually prefer plain looking cookware and was worried about the blue color on the outside, but the color is gorgeous and timeless.
