I generally love Anastasia eye make up; the shadows are beautiful and have great staying power and I have become a total convert . So I had high expectations for this mascara but sadly I found this one to be clumpy from the start, which is disappointing. Maybe I got a dud batch; who knows? The quest for my fave non-tubular mascara continues.

Mediocre
I'm surprised by the good reviews on this mascara as it was very mid. The colour is very black and it is volumising, but its also clumpy and a bit too wet for my liking. It is one of the few mascaras that irritated my eyes, and whilst I'm a contact lens wearer I don't typically have sensitive eyes. There are a lot better mascaras on the market.

Excellent
This is an excellent mascara , I bought the travel size to try .its very easy to apply , the colour is fab like an ink black , it lengthened my lashes and didn’t clump,. It also has lovely packaging.I recommend this mascara .would purchase the full size .

Finally - a mascara that ticks all of my boxes!! It is a lovely inky black that looks stunning with my liquid liner, and it lengthens and curls my lashes beautifully to give a fluttery fanned effect that I really love. One coat is enough, but I do like to add a second coat for a more volumised look. I also appreciate that I don't have to curl my lashes first, or spend too long going over my lashes to remove clumps. Just a few swipes and wiggles with the brush, and I'm done, which is hugely beneficial when I'm rushing to get ready in the mornings! Another plus is that it's been holding up well in the hot, humid summer weather. It's not the cheapest mascara, but I've spent a small fortune trying to find the perfect one so I don’t mind paying a bit extra on one that I know actually works for me. I love it so much, I've bought my second tube already, just in case it's out of stock online when I finish my first tube!

Really good mascara
Thought I’d try this based on the reviews about it being intensely pigmented as I wanted a darker mascara to make the most of my lashes which tend to be small and sparse. I’ve been using it for some time now, and have found it to be excellent, bring very easy to apply with the brush, smooth, and non clumping, as well as serving the purpose I intended it for. Will definitely be on my repurchase list.
