I bought this kettle quite a while ago, but within the past 3 years, for use on my induction stove. I once accidentally had the burner on under the kettle when there was no water in it, which "burned" the bottom of the kettle on the outside. I also recently noticed that there seems to be rusting on the inside of the kettle, so that I am now uncertain about whether I will ever use it to boil water which will be consumed. It does look very pretty though (except for the burned metal.)

The color is different than it’s shown. The items are not same as the picture. It’s over priced for one single item.
Could be better for the price
Avant- grade design, and looks amazing on my stovetop. But handle gets very hot and you must wear a mitt to pour. More aesthetic than practical.

I have had this kettle design from Alessi for 33 years. My son just turned 30 so it was time for me to get him one of his own for his home since he's grown up enjoying mine.
