Lovely idea but poor execution

I purchased this sweater in my regular size small (5’6”, 127 lbs). The color is gorgeous and the idea for the design is fantastic. Unfortunately, the actual product didn’t work. The sweater fit well from the chest up to my shoulders. But below that area, it laid open exposing my stomach and below.. it only covered my backside and part of my side hips. It also is not 26” as stated, but much shorter. I don’t think I could size up as it would be too large on top. This is a miss for me. Most shocking is the price for poor execution. Perhaps this needs a redesign.
