Why change?
I’m genuinely so disappointed that Armani has discontinued/reformulated this primer. The original Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer was one of the best products I’ve ever found for my very sensitive, eczema-prone skin. What made it so special wasn’t just how beautifully makeup sat over it. Whenever my skin became hot, flushed or irritated, I could apply this and physically feel my face cooling down. It would leave my skin feeling soothed, hydrated and much more comfortable, and the redness would visibly calm too. I’ve since discovered that the original formula contained ethyl menthane carboxamide, a cooling ingredient, alongside glycerin, silicones and emollients. It seems to have been the perfect combination for my skin. Unfortunately, the replacement is a completely different formulation and now contains ingredients I actively avoid when my skin is flaring, including denatured alcohol, fragrance and an exfoliating acid. Please, Armani, bring the original Hydrating Primer back! There really isn’t anything else quite like it, and for those of us with sensitive, reactive skin it was so much more than just a makeup primer.

Very beautiful glow
(Dont mind the redness or marks on my face it’s not from the product!) I really like how glowy this primer is . For me personally I love a glowing base.you can even wear it on its own for a healthy radiant glow. It’s does contain fragrance. I prefer my products without Fragrance. Blends really nicely in to the skin it has a serum like texture. It’s light weight it’s leave my skin with a little residue/tacky which I expect since it is a primer for make up. It contains silicones and I can feel it. I don’t like the fact that they are not cruelty free.

Good product
I bought this product about a month ago. The texture is excellent—it’s not sticky, doesn’t weigh the skin down, spreads evenly, and blends well. It gives a subtle glow, though it doesn’t cover up skin imperfections or pigmentation.

I always use Designer Glow which changed from DESIGNER LIFT for many many years. Rang Harrods and was told it’s discontinued I use No 4. I was so disappointed since I’m 72 years old and it makes my fine lines disappear . Bought 2 bottles of the new Luminous silk foundation No 4. I hate it it so thin and doesn’t cover well. It sits in the fine lines which make them appear deep when they are not. Harrods supplies all my Armani make up and have always praised my skin texture for my age. So disappoi

Disappointed.
Super disappointed that this product arrived and the tube instructions were in what appears to be Chinese. Does this mean that the product is counterfeit? I have always been so please with my Armani foundation but will not buy the primer again and will not buy from this site again. I hope to hear back from you on this matter.
