The name of this potent fragrance is a blend in its own right, combining "water lily" and "Nymphéas" (the French title for Claude Monet's Water Lilies series). On the bottle, enticing you to tranquil contemplation, the gentle shapes of water lilies are subtly delineated. On the sleeve, its blue and green hues are depicted in watercolor.

Dreamy watery soft floral

I tested this a few months ago and fell in love. I also tested L’eau Papier (still on my list!) but Lilyphea was preferred on my skin when I asked to compare from family members. It is well blended and to my nose, is soft (in smell, not necessarily strength) and ethereal quality, lightly green and watery. I know there are many notes to this that perhaps a better trained nose than mine would be able to pick apart, but to me it just smells beautiful, lightly floral (not cloying or over the top), fresh and beautiful.

I was on the fence about this one but it has turned out to be one of my favs. Lasts a long time and doesn’t smell like alcohol after a few hours. True scent all day long. Feminine scent and I’ve received a ton of compliments.
