Jewelry for my kitchen countertop
It heats the water well just a little heavy
On the heavy side, but stunning
This is so next-level compared to the Smeg and Aarke I was considering. While I love a pop of color in the kitchen, the ribbed design and substantial weight of the kettle led me to purchasing a stainless option. It does get a bit heavy, even before you put the water in. But it is so beautiful on the counter. I do prefer the one-touch lid opening and more ergonomic pouring that the Aarke has. And I think the plastic on/off lever is a bit cheap for this price point. Even the Smeg has a metal switch. I would love to have those adjustments. It's certainly not a bargain, but it's not substantially more than others in this category.
