Beautiful quad with stunning payoff

I purchased the Couture Mini Clutch shadow quad in Captivating Dunes; the colors are finely milled and all four pans, regardless of shade depth or shimmer, are saturated and lay down on the skin so nicely. There is remarkably little fallout for how sparkly these shadows are, and they diffuse effortlessly. This particular palette is especially attuned to evening and special event wear, but the colors are neutral and flexible enough that one can get an assortment of daytime looks out of it, too. The compact itself is a statement piece on its own and is worth saving for use as a compact mirror after the eyeshadow itself is panned. It feels lovely in the hand and presents better in person than it does in photos. I'm very pleased with it. Are there less expensive palettes whose colors perform similarly? Sure. But the compact and presentation of this one is why people spend a little extra for something like this.
