Zipper broken- dress is ruined waste of money

I had this dress on for less than 10 minutes total all three times I had it on for fittings when I was ready to take it off after the final fitting my seamstress went to unzip the dress when the zipper broke. I was unable to physically get out of the dress so my seamstress had to cut the zipper so I could get out of it. The fit was perfect and was not tight so that is not why the zipper broke. My seamstress said the zipper is cheaply made which is horrible for a dress that I paid $900 for. She has been unable to find a zipper that will match the blue color or anything close and my son‘s wedding is in two weeks. I have no idea what to do. I definitely want a refund!!!!

Great Dress!

Bough this dress as mother of the bride option. Put it on and immediately loved it! It gave support with the one shoulder and fun but elegant with the ruffle and side slit. It also helped hide my insecurity spots like my stomach. Great dress and lovely color.
