Legendary Hairbrush
You do not need any other brushes; this brush does it all. This is my fifth one, I've used them since childhood. Replaced maybe every ten years. It fluffs; it detangles, it is a solid performer that is why it has been around for so long. I have a wide tooth comb and this brush; you don't need anything else.

I bought this extremely expensive hairbrush for my niece who is graduating from college is December. She has lovely thick hair and brushes it frequently. I bought the same brush for myself last year as a birthday present to myself and it has really made a difference in my hair. Time will tell how long it will last. I don’t use it on wet hair as I feel that might degrade the rubber base.
Not sure it’s worth the price
Beautiful brush but don’t expect miracles. Don’t understand really why this brush is so pricey, but wanted to try one.

For a very long time, I was skeptical of whether or not the Mason Pearson brush was worth the hefty price tag. After much consideration, I finally made the purchase… And I’m happy I did the brush not only lives up to the hype. It has made my hair significantly better in the short amount of time I’ve had it. My hair feels very soft and smooth, I love brushing my hair now! If you’re considering the purchase, I highly recommend to just do it!
