Hello there! Our products have been tested to have at least a 3-year shelf life if unopened and stored at normal room temperature, during which they will retain their integrity and perform as expected. If your product looks and smells the way it normally does, it is good to use. Certain products, for example sunscreens, may have an expiration date printed on the product.
Great sunscreen
The sunscreen spreads on so nicely and absorbs into the skin really well. No greasy or oily finish. I highly recommend it

Wonderful - but please update your leaky bottle!
I love this sunscreen and have used it for years - all over my body as someone with fair skin as well as under and over makeup. Never sticky, greasy or leaving a gross residue like most. HOWEVER - I am begging and waiting for them to upgrade the bottle/cap. It always leaks!!! I love to keep it with me, but have to put it in a plastic bag - which becomes messy too. Please Kiehl’s, upgrade your packaging of this wonderful sunscreen!

Makes my face white.
It makes my face white, no matter how much I shake the bottle or rub the lotion on my skin. And it stinks.

Sunscreen doesn’t absorb and leaves face greasy
The sunscreen does not fully absorb into my skin. As a result, it leaves my face looking pale and slightly greasy. Additionally, the bottle has an expiration date of January 2027….which is only three months away. Overall I’m disappointed with this sunscreen and will have to look for a different brand.
