It is sturdy, but not worth the price. It does exactly the same thing as other rolling pins that are less expensive

High quality rolling pin

Joseph Joseph is always good, and I was delighted that it's even nicer than the photo. The rings are hard plastic for consistent dough thickness. I love it!
