Material a Problem

A very pretty, figure flatering dress. The problem is the material. Its a very soft stretchy cotton that would be warm on a hot summer night. I wore this dress to a cool outside evening summer wedding and got compliments. I just donot think it would hold up after washing and living a busy life in it. If you wear it for just basic evenings out it would be nice. But that is not my life, I need a material that will hold up. It also runs super large (I think because of this loose strechy cotton). I am a size 18 and bought the XL, could really have gone to a L.
