    A holistic take on fig, not only the fruit, but an endless orchard of vibrant trees stretching along the shoreline. Woody and warm, green and bright, bark, sap and leaves blend elegantly with almost-ripe figs. A composition inspired by the fragrance of the wind in a fruit garden with the summer sun at its peak.

  • About The Brand

    The result of exceptional craftsmanship, the art of perfumery meets candle-making expertise. Each candle is made from a blend of several types of wax and a high-quality fragrance concentrate, as well as a selection of a wick that guarantee perfect scent diffusion and combustion. Meticulous work carried out in two factories, near Paris and in Provence, by master candle makers. The bohemian neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 1963. The three founders' fascination with nature gave rise to an exceptional herbarium of scents. Flowers, fruits, trees, herbs and spices make up this living collection.

  • How To Use It

    Prepare your space
    - Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
    - Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a stand or tray.
    - We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself.
    - During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed (about 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.

    While burning
    - Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after the first burn.
    - Never leave a burning candle unattended.
    - Do not move a burning or unlit hot candle.
    - Keep it away from draft.
    - Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) between two candles.

    After each use
    - Snuff out the flame: use a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax.
    - Re-center the wick once the candle is out.
    - Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid risk of fire.

I am extremely disappointed with the extra large Diptque candle I purchased. When it arrived, it was obvious that it had been used. A significant amount of the wax had been scraped down, apparently to make the candle look even, but it was clear it was not in new condition. This candle was purchased as a gift, and I was embarrassed that it arrived in such poor condition. This is simply not the level of quality or service I expect from Bloomingdale’s. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time I’ve had issues with candles purchased from Bloomingdale’s, making this experience even more frustrating. For a retailer known for quality, I expected much better. I hope Bloomingdale’s improves its quality control to ensure customers receive new, undamaged products—especially when purchasing premium gifts.

Stunner

Lovely ceramic vessel and the candle burns beautifully and gives a full melt pool after about two hours. The scent is stunning but quite light, would be nice if the candle had a better throw but the beauty of the piece more than makes up for it.

Daytime Fave

One of my favourites for daytime. It smells like fresh figs with a bit of greenery, so it feels natural and slightly creamy at the same time. It’s not overpowering and just makes the space feel relaxed and fresh. Easy to burn without getting bored of it.

Green fig

Less about sweet fig, more about the whole tree. It smells green, slightly creamy, very natural, almost like crushed leaves and warm air. It doesn’t fill the room aggressively, it just sort of settles in and makes everything feel calmer. Compared to sweeter fig scents, this is drier and more realistic. It gives that easy, relaxed atmosphere, like being somewhere quiet in summer.

Diptyque XL candle

Diptyque XL figuier candle. Amazing candle - looks the part and has a very unique smell. Smell not as intense as expected but that’s just a personal preference. Given the loyalty programme, makes the candle the most cost effective way of getting that other retailers.
