It's nice but I won't repurchase
It is a very strong oud on spray, with seemingly not much complexity. It settles after a few minutes into a leather scent. I think this could have been elevated with some sweetness. Love the packaging, it it does have a long wear time (though more the leather than the oud).

OK, but not stellar
Please remember that fragrance reviews are very personal, as what the wearer experiences depends upon their own unique skin chemistry. You might love something I hate, or vice versa. I can't say that we noticed any pepper, but that might be because some synthetic oud was whacking me about the nose right off the bat. This was a really too much of an aggressive start to be enjoyable for either of us. Once this had died down a little, there was some fairly soft leather with (I think) tonka to sweeten. later turning a little woody and smokey. Neither of us loved this, and I would not call this either leather-based (and it's not a a very good leather accord), or in the least bit reminiscent of the outdoors (at night or otherwise) which for me never involves any synthetic oud. However, at least it isn't another bland, oversweet floral overpowered by synthetic laundry-style musk, so points for that.

Bold oud, long lasting
Spicy addictive oud fragrance that is long lasting, only the tiniest bit sweet. I prefer the 1oz size to the larger sizes for freshness
