they have a wide mouth so they are easy to drink out of, are comfortable to hold and look pretty

horrible glaze/ finish

I love the look. Modern and the pops of color are what makes them appealing. They are durable. That said, they retain metal utensil marks horribly. The marks are impossible to remove. If these are going to be your everyday dishes, think twice. They will look like crap in no time cups included. There is also no small desert plate with this set only a super large dinner and a salad plate. They were not cheap, Nambe could have done better. I wanted to like these
