Diptyque Velvet Hand Lotion has the most refreshing scent. Absorbs instantly in to the skin and softens and hydrates. People always ask me what my perfume is and I say is my hand cream. It is expensive and once you purchase there is no going back. Also makes a perfect gift!

After wincing at the price I eventually bought this with a slight discount from Indulge rewards. After reading all the great reviews I decided to go for it and so glad I did. I very much doubt I will ever buy another brand of hand lotion again, and am basing that on the scent alone, which is beyond description. It’s been described as “almond” but in no way does that do it justice. I keep finding reasons to apply more so that I can revisit the scent. If I hadn’t known what it was supposed to smell of, I would have said aniseed, maybe. In any case, whatever it smells of, I will be jealously guarding it and buying refills for ever after. It’s not the most moisturising of hand lotions and creams, but it’s sufficiently nourishing and perfect for light and frequent application - for example after washing hands or doing dishes. Definitely in my top ten products purchased from Space NK.

Dipytique hand cream
Recently purchased for our new downstairs toilet Smells absolutely divine and lasts on your hands for a long time in-fact your hands are so soft after using a small application. It’s non greasy and soaks in beautifully. Glass bottle makes it look extra special on the shelf Certainly a great buy and guests complemented it too

both me and my boyfriend love it! it gives a smell like almond, but not sweet at all, and it is a lightweight hand lotion so perfect for summer season. also it is very hydrating at the same time so i think it is perfect for both men and women who prefers neutral smell and light lotion.

I bought this to go with the exfoliating hand wash that I’d purchased. It is absolutely gorgeous. It doesn’t stay with a sticky residue on your hands. It absorbs immediately and one pump is enough to do both hands. I do believe this will last quite a long time in my bathroom. It smells divine and lasts quite some time making hands feel soft, smooth.

Love it!
I absolutely love my brand new velvet hand lotion, as it makes my hand feel silky smooth. It was a brilliant birthday gift from a friend, and I will be definitely be giving it to others. It is expensive but it is definitely worth the money. I would repurchase, and recommend to a friend. I absolutely love the Diptyque brand!!!!!

This hand lotion may not be as hyped as the Aesop products, but I genuinely believe it deserves more attention and love. I adore everything about it! Its runny texture is easy to apply, yet it provides deep hydration and nourishment for my dry hands. While my hands feel a bit sticky immediately after application, that sensation disappears after about 5-10 minutes. The formula has truly impressed me with its well-selected ingredients like jojoba, peach kernel, and sesame oils, along with glycerin and an array of antioxidants. Plus, it contains some chemical sunscreen, which I hope will provide some sun protection throughout the day. The scent is gorgeous—very reminiscent of Diptyque—with a light fragrance of field flowers that's not typical for hand creams. It’s incredibly comforting to use. The luxurious glass jar is heavy and stunning, definitely an enhancement to any interior. Although the price may seem high at first glance, considering how long this volume will last, I find it an excellent choice for a gift or a personal treat. Overall, I think this hand lotion is truly special and deserves a spotlight!
