Doesn't work

This just knocks ash into the candle, and it doesn't even work well as a snuffer. Horrible design.

Terrible snuffer and cutter

Just bought this two days ago and threw it in the trash. Not sharp enough to cut wicks and makes a mess with wax and old wick material. Do not buy.

Does not work at all

I purchased this item to help trim my candle wicks as they burn down lower. After opening the package and trying it out, the scissors stick together and the sharpened edge of it is not sharp at all. I tried it on one of my candles and it did not cut it all, it messed the wick up actually.

Does not work with all candles

This is more of a trimmer than a snuffer. It is very hard to snuff a candle without trimming or otherwise damaging the wick. It trims the wicks on my homemade candle easily, but does not cut through my Yankee Candle wicks. I will be looking for a traditional shaped snuffer and just continue to use scissors instead of this.
