Seamless

I enjoyed trying out this project! This foundation stick provides a medium coverage with a satin effect. It is lovely as there is a sheen but nothing too oily looking. I find the product looks good through out the day and I don’t have to worry about touching up. Would recommend!

Seamless Finish

I alternate between this and a liquid foundation depending how hydrated my skin is. This stick provides good coverage and a sort of natural finish, neither matte nor dewy. I think it would depend on your skin type and what is used underneath also. I have normal to dehydrated skin and I can use this after proper moisturisation or else it can look cakey. Only a small amount is needed and buffs well with the Hourglass brush for this foundation. I have noticed that as my skin has aged over the last few years, this does not look quite as seamless as it used to, so perhaps not for aging or more mature skin.

not for dry or dehydrated skin

I bought this for the coverage but it does not suit my dehydrated skin, my skin just feels uncomfortable and I get lines and creases around my face which I never get. I have to prep my skin with extra extra hydration to use this as I don't want tp waste it. Great product but not for dry/dehydrates skin.

Matte Finish

I absolutely love this product! I have always been a huge fan of the Hourglass range and this foundation is no exception. The effortless, simply way to apply makes for quick and easy application and without the risk of applying too much and looking caked! This foundation is ideal for anyone with oily skin as it provides a lovely matte finish. I have it in two shades, one lighter - one darker and often mix the two depending on the time of year and how tanned i am

Amazing!

Whilst this is officially a foundation, it is extremely full coverage and I use it as a concealer. It is very thick so a little goes a long way and provides a dewy finish. The stick lasts a longtime. It is expensive but worth the price. Like my other reviews, when buying pricier items look out for promotions or double point events.

Perfect finish

I recently bought this foundation stick for use while travelling but it has become my every day staple. It is so easy to scribble on and blend out, and to add extra coverage where needed. It gives a lovely satin finish which isn't too dewy nor too flat; it works really well for my combination skin and lasts all day (although I do always add powder over the top). It is easy to spot apply and blend in for higher coverage over blemishes. I use the Hourglass no2 brush with this and it works perfectly. Absolutely love this foundation.

Amazing!!

Absolutely love this foundation. Seamless and flawless. Would definitely recommend to try this as your next foundation! Will be repurchasing as soon as it runs out. Never used hourglass before but I am not disappointed. I love love love love love love it!!
