Didn't fit the same as another color, strange

Wish they worked out, but no, had to return. I purchased in a lighter color and they were perfect. But these darker ones were actually a different fit. I could have put a grapefruit in the back waistband the gap was so big.

NYDJ Relaxed: perfect style

I liked the denim, the color/wash and the high rise was spot on. I like the Relaxed style. They were not listed as ankle length, but they were on me (5'5.5"). The sizing on different styles of NYDJ can confuse me! I have several pairs of NYDJ: mostly in 4 or 6. In THIS one, the 4 was too small in the waist. Standardized sizing would help.
