Not worth the money
I’ve used this bowel twice, I bake, but not a lot. It sat in my cabinet for several months and I pulled it out to make brown butter cookies. It immediately cracked.. the butter wasn’t even all that hot. Now I have to throw $150 in the trash. It’s never happened in all the years I’ve used Pyrex or crate and barrel mixing bowls. I thought this would be a beautiful upgrade, but it’s actually not even a little bit. Save your money, unless you plan on just looking at it and not using it.
Pretty but returned it
Beautiful bowl but I returned it. I purchased this online using a gift card during a store sale event. The bowl was shipped directly from Farmhouse Pottery and was clearly one of their “seconds” - pottery that is not perfect and sold for a discounted price. The beige bottom half of the bowl was crooked and wonky. Also the interior was not smooth. It would have been helpful to know beforehand that with the friends and family discount, I was purchasing seconds. In any case, sometimes the seconds can be ok. In this case it was a bit too obvious.
