Great mop- makes mopping a breeze
I have had the G1 for a few months now and love it. It saves my back and makes mopping a large area a breeze. It takes a bit to get used to it and learn how to empty the tray (stiff to start) but the self cleaning function is awesome. Lots of control for the water amount for cleaning and clear display. It can leave mop marks but think that’s my tiles and have worked out how to minimise this. Would love a solution to add for fragrance and or extra clean.

Disappointed
I bought this at the beginning of December and used it twice. It picked up the bits but when I came to empty it the tray was almost impossible to remove. When it did come out is came out so quickly that the dirty water which collects under the debris tray spilled over the clean floor and the only way to avoid this was to lift the appliance on to the work surface near the sink. Even then removal of the tray was difficult. On low hydration no water collected in the dirty water tank. Was very unhappy so have returned it to the store for a refund

It’s good, others are better
Purchased this earlier this year, it’s easy to use and, for the most part, I like it. Only one side of the roller head can get up flush against the skirting / cabinets and it can take a few passes over a mark to clean it. Overall, I prefer using it to a regular mop. However, it stopped working a few weeks ago. This isn’t my first Dyson product, so I’m familiar with accessing support / servicing - this time was a poor experience. There were delays with responses, concerns weren’t addressed and complaints ignored. I’m really disappointed with Dyson Support. The machine is away for repair at the moment, hopefully it returns in working order soon. In summary - I like the Wash G1, I like the design, I like the features, but it could be improved with some adjustments - especially around the roller head. Dyson Support needs to up it’s game. As mush as I like it, I wouldn’t buy it again - there are other products that preform just as well (or better) and offer better support.

Not so impressed
Very hard to clean after . Especially the tray . It’s also hard to put it back on on . I am not sure if it actually cleans the floor properly . Not worth the money it cost !

Quite good house cleaning machine
Bought this machine couple of week ago, really good in cleaning tiles and hard floor. Recommend for hard floors and tiles we used bit of tile cleaning liquid which helps to clean quite well. Technology is quite good however bit heavy
