Not impressed. Disappointed.

I had high hopes for this new line of Aerin fragrances: Bamboo Rose, Linen Rose, and Garden Rose. I purchased a roll-on bottle of each to try. I'm not impressed with any of them. Of the 3, I favor Garden Rose, which to me, best represents the root word - the "Rose". Neither the Bamboo Rose nor the Linen Rose depict scents of roses. The Bamboo smells "common" like other scents I've tried. The Linen is too perfumy, without a hint of roses. For me, nothing surpasses (so far) the gentle, delicate, feminine, elegant notes of Rose De Grasse.

Refreshing & Uplifting

I would describe this fragrance as a soft, lovely rose scent that has been "brightened" with a refreshing "splash" of citrus. The vibrant, crisp green note heightens Bamboo Rose's unique fragrance appeal therefore making it a very fresh and exhilarating fragrance experience which in turn will provide a great sense of well being! Expertly blended, highly recommended!

Fresh, beautiful

These new rose colognes are poorly named, a mes avis. This one is a very beautiful, garden rose, fresh and green, and not the least bit oriental. Think of the bamboo more like fresh green notes. Light, like a breath of spring. A bit more substantial and certainly more complex than Rose de Grasse.

perfection

This scent blends fresh,light,and breezy notes with just the right amount of floral tones to produce a pretty close to perfect product. The rose value in this cologne is subtle and is not at all heavy or cloying as some rose-based perfumes can be. It's a modern floral blend that will not remind you of great grandma's boudoir. Perfection in a bottle.
