Poor design on false button panel, looks cheap
The main issue with the dress is the construction of the fake button panel... the buttons don't go all the way to the bottom and since this is a fake button down dress (it does not open in the front, it zips down the back) this becomes obvious when you look at the bottom of the dress...at the hemline the outer layer wraps down and under the inner layer, making it obvious its a false button panel and the last 8 inches of the dress gape open revealing that it's a false opening. The buttons don't really hold the flap down the way real buttons would, and it's obvious theres no button holes, adding to the false look of the whole thing. Also it's freaking SPARKLY! Theres iridescent threads woven throughout. And the gold on the buttons looks cheap. I bought a similar one from a certain Chinese retailer for 1/8 of the price and it's better quality and construction.
