We appreciate your feedback and understand how the appearance of the machine may have caused some confusion. We’d like to clarify that the exterior is indeed brushed stainless steel, with additional components made from other materials as part of the overall design. We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback, as it’s important to us and helps us continue improving our products and how they are presented.

Happy upgraded user: from Touch Impress to the Oracle Jet

I decided to upgrade from the Touch Impress. I can say that between the two machines the Oracle Jet definitely more premium fuel as well as quicker more seamless operation between the workflow of meeting your preferred drinks. I specifically like the The updated larger screen, and better graphics, but that alone is not worth the upgrade. The 58mm Porte filter is noticeably better for pouring more consistent shots. The ability to adjust the amount of espresso shots by a half shot is amazing. I found myself on the touch impress having to pour my double shot and then add another 3-5 seconds manually to the shot since I could program my custom drink to this ability. Another big bonus is the milk temperature sensor being in the head of the spout VS on the grate through the milk carafe. I never felt that the touch impress did an accurate job at milk temperature where the oracle is superior in this area. Next feature that, once again, is not necessarily worth an upgrade on its own, but a nice to have is being able to put the wheels down to pull the machine out on the counter with ease to access both the bean hopper and refill the water tank. I still fill the water tank by pulling it out from the back of the machine even though you can do this from the front upper trapped door. I find this easier because of the fact the machine is on wheels. So it’s way less effort overall, having this feature. All of these features combined for someone who was used to the touch impress and very much worth upgrading to the Oracle Touch.

Not bad

I had been using the Oracle Touch for more than 6 years, recently it kept breaking down so I decided to replace it completely. The Oracle Jet is just as good, I had no need for the dual boiler. However, one big difference I observed is the steam wand self-cleaning - which isn't as vigorous as the Touch, and leaves a lot of milk stuck at the drip tray. Needs more frequent cleaning.
