Quintessential Crystal

We registered for the "Lismore Tall" stemware: 12 goblets, fluets, wine and iced beverage. We received most of our wine glasses and a few of the other pieces. The crystal is intricate and equisite, what I would call quintessential Irish crystal. It is the type of stemware that will be handed down for generations. I preferred the taller style to the traditional Lismore and it fits well in our cabinets. My only complaint is that it is now not made in Ireland. Several of our guests bought in-store rather than online to ensure that we received real Irish crystal rather than Eastern European crystal. I look forward to collecting the other pieces.

Elegant stemware

This is a beautiful pattern, and the "tall" version provides larger capacity. The wine glasses (just in general for crystal patterns, not necessarily these) are very small, so I am using actual wine glasses (i.e. Riedel) instead of crystal, but the goblets and champagne flutes are functional, as well as beautiful and classic.

Tasteful Elegance...

I fell in love with Waterford's Lismore patterned crystal at a very young age... Both of my grandmother's and my own mother collected this particular pattern and I was so excited to start my own... My husband and I chose the "tall" version of the collection and we could not be any happier... It is simply remarkable! We love the reaction we both get (and others) when you are using it... It makes you feel as if you have stepped back into "the Great Gatsby" time period... I highly recommend to all...

beautiful but lots of little flaws

They are gorgeous but there are so many flaws we had to return them. This is supposed to be part of the handmade traits of waterford. Great if you don't mind that, but give the price I'd expect better.
