Proportions are way off

The color and fabric are good for summer. That said, the dress simply doesn't work. The waist is loose. The darts at the bust are in wrong place. The waist is high (and I am short-waisted). I was really hopeful about this dress, but it's going back.

Lovely dress

Comfortable, flattering, and a terrific color. A bit bigger on top than I expected, but that makes it look more casual, which is good for a beach dress.
