Beautiful shoe but runs short

Bought this shoe, beautiful, well made and classy but shortfall is in sizing. I am in between sizes 9 to 9.5. Purchased the 9.5 and my heel is hanging over. So I figured it’s cut half size short . The front strap is not very comfortable perhaps due to sizing but I still am so in love with it. Call me shoe crazy. They are sold out on size 10 but I will watch to see if it becomes available. Haven’t decided if I will return as yet.
