Okay Set
I hate giving this a mid review since this is a small business, but it's not a set I'd buy again. The board itself isn't set well on the hinges. I had to exchange the first one that came because of how uneven the two halves were--it actually didn't close entirely, and one lip stuck out over the other. The replacement board is better, but still doesn't line up quite right. Something I didn't expect is the checkers and shaker are one color of blue/orange, and then the darts and dice are a different shade or blue/orange. The darts and dice are much more pastel in color. It's not apparent in the product photos so I thought I'd mention it here. I don't dislike that, but I was expecting all the orange to be one shade and all the blue to be another. I like the size, but it's pretty hefty and hard to transport without a handle. But I can imagine making an acrylic handle would be very hard. I like the checker size, the translucent shakers are cute. It's a cute set, but I wouldn't get it again.
Beautiful but not functional
Beautiful backgammon set but not practical or very functional. Hard to distinguish the colors when playing.

Absolutely LOVE my backgammon set!!! Originally saw it in Architectural Digest and was so pleasantly surprised to see it at Bloomingdales on sale!!! I bought two :)
