Double Check the Measurements of your Guest Towels

This is a beautiful guest towel holder, but sadly will be returned as my paper guest towels do not fit. The measurements provided are of the external or perimeter of the holder, not the internal space and my towels (8.5 inches long) do not fit in the space provided. You can squish them in but it defeats the purpose if they look stuffed in there. Wish it would have worked out.
