Waste of money & A letdown

The battery on this thing is extremely frustrating. I’m really not sure how it’s so highly rated. We’ve had ours for two years now and find the battery doesn’t last that long, and charging it feels like a hard math problem to solve. If you charge too little (2 hours) or charge too much (8 hours) it won’t work. Also connecting to Bluetooth can be quite tricky at times. I really wanted to love this, the radio feature is great, but I just end up having to have it plugged it, which ruins the whole point. Argh.

Disappointed

I have owned my original Tivoli PAL for fifteen years or more and it still works and sounds as great as when I bought it. Recently, I purchased a PAL BT for it's bluetooth benefits but was disappointed to find both the sound and the reception when I am not using BT are, not for the better, noticably different. The sound and reception of my old one are far better.

Still Love It 5 Years Later

When I renovated my principal bathroom, I installed chrome fixtures throughout. I hoped to find a chrome radio to place on my black marble countertop but doubted one was available. But it did, and I've been thrilled with it. I love the quality materials and appearance, and the audio quality is excellent as well.

A fine product, but ...

I'd award 5 stars if I could source (find / buy) a healthy battery to replace my fading battery..I've long appreciated the ability of Tivolis to offer good reception.

PAL BT

I bought a Pal BT from a store in Braintree Massachusetts and it was wonderful. We had it for year-and it finally died. We bought another one from someplace out West and it never worked right and they never backed it up. We have it sitting here and don't know where to take it to be fixed. Any suggestions for us would greatly be appreciated!

We are happy with our PAL BT

We are very happy with the PAL BT. The sound it produces is clear, precise and pleasant. The size is really perfect for travel and it fits nicely in our small living room area. An unexpected pleasure is using the FM radio with is analog dial. Turning it to find a station and then fine tune the connection is very satisfying. Almost as soon as we received it we left on a trip to southern Massachusetts and enjoyed picking up stations from Boston and Cape Cod. The BT works flawlessly and sounds much better with music than I had expected from something this size. We are very happy we chose the PAL BT and recommend it.

Great little radio/bluetooth unit.

Sounds much better than other one I had bought. Great for a bedroom or an office radio. I wonder if it could somehow have a tweeter also and a ported mid-bass.
