looks great, love the locking mechanism

baby (10 months) is psyched whenever she sees me pull out the e-bike. she's a big fan of riding facing forward. only drawbacks so far are: - she's still too short for her feet to reach the stirrups (not thule's fault) - no way to provide "head support" when she passes out and her head is hanging forward - no shade aside from those slight detractors for me, this is a great product and definitely does what it's supposed to do. i don't recommend if you plan on doing long journeys because of the neck support thing when they fall asleep.

Wouldn’t buy again.

The “locking mechanism” on the THILE YEPP NEXXT 2 MAXI rack mount edition is frightening. Is different from models prior, and honestly I’m not sure how it passed a safety standards. The turn key locking feature is wonky, not being able to get full concrete turns, and ultimately with slight pressure the seat slides up the rack. The first time I took my child on it the seat it moved forward 4” after tightening it down as hard as I could after only a short right. The mechanics to hold the seat in place are all my of plastic which wobble around. Honestly it’s scary, I wish had had not spent my hard earned money on this.

Needs a Sternum Buckle for Safety!

My 2-year-old twins instantly slipped out of the shoulder straps! Tdiv's 2-star review (and others) also says the shoulder straps seem loose and unsafe. The shoulder straps lack a sternum buckle, standard on every toddler car seat in the world. I purchased cheap plastic buckles from the largest online retailer. Now the straps fit safely and the seat is fine. Thule should warn parents!

Love It!

Our almost 2 year old can't get enough of riding on the back of our E-Bike! She asks every morning if we'll pick her up from Daycare with the bike. Easy to install and position on the banana seat, easy to strap her in, but very secure so she can't get out of her own straps.

Bring your youngling on your next ride

Solid child seat. Works great on my Specialized Globe Haul ST. The adjustable choke on the security tether took me a minute to figure out but once I did it allowed me to slide the seat a little further back into the ideal position on the rear rack.
