Gorgeous but for a specific body build

I am 5’9” with an hourglass figure. This dress is gorgeous and would have been perfect for two semi-formal weddings in Nov and early Dec. There is no give in either the sleeve opening or at the waist. The perfect body for this would have small upper arms, a large chest and a small waist. As tall as I am, the waist band hit me at my hips rather than the slim part of my waist making me appear dowdy and frumpy. If I could have had the shoulders taken in about 3 inches (impossible to do), this dress would have been flattering and a keeper. I am so disappointed to return. Just FYI I weigh 160 lbs and wear a 10 or 12. I purchased the 12 for the waist measurement.

Tiny sleeves

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! Even my husband really wanted me to have it even though I could not think of more than one event I needed it for. I bought an 8 and the lace on the sleeves was so tight. I upsized to a 10 and had the same issue. I REALLY wanted this to work though it had to go back. I do own another Tadashi Shoji dress that I love and would buy one again. I feel this was a fluke.
