Works well overall

This base works well but there are a few things that could be improved. For example, I tend to hit the power button unintentionally when curling my hair, which sometimes turns the unit off. Also, I had to search online for what temperatures the different heat levels correspond to...it would be easier if they were labeled more prominently on the unit itself.

Worth every penny!

This base paired with any of the wand attachments is the BEST curling iron I’ve ever used, so much so that this purchase is a back up in case the other ever dies on me. I’m sure the new version is just as good, but I bought all the barrels for this one and wanted to protect that investment. It IS an investment, but it’s absolutely worth it. I have course, naturally curly/wavy hair with a mind of its own. When I style with my T3, my hair is soft, frizz is reduced, and my style holds for 2-3 days-I get so many compliments even on day 2 and 3. If there is any drawback to the product it’s that the little tip on the barrel can snag on hair so you have to be mindful when releasing curls but it’s a minor inconvenience that doesn’t overshadow the performance of the iron, in my opinion.

It’s not user friendly. Not easy to curl. Curls don’t stay.

Love/Hate

This is my 3rd base in less than a year. I just got this one and it's already down to the three lights. I really have a love hate relationship with this iron. I love what it gives but i hate that it costs so much and doesn't last at all.
