Nice design but too heavy

It fits nice & I liked those side cutouts accentuated with bows, very original. However the material is so thick & heavy, more suitable for a winter jacket than a festive dress. I am tall; was excited about the ample length at first but again, it added to the bulk of this dress & not in a good way. Straps were too long, needed a trip to alterations. Returned.
