These are exactly what I was looking for--I wanted a stylish snow boot that would go with any outfit. I didn't find them hard to get on, but you need to wear thicker socks because as other reviewers mentioned, they can be hard on the ankles. Still would recommend!

Causes cuts at ankle
The boots were really cute and an accurate fit everywhere but the ankle. One wear of these boots left me with cuts and scars on my ankles. Unfortunately, regardless of this issue, if any of Sorel’s shoes cause issues, you cannot obtain a refund even if you’ve worn them only once.

not good for large feet
beautiful shoes but i wear a size 11, i couldnot get my foot through the small ankle hole. Terrible design for big feet, they need a zipper or something so you can get your foot in.

Stylish, True to size and great grip in snowy conditions
I received these boots as a gift and they are perfect for what I need them for. Super stylish with the black leather and gum sole. The upper part is stiff at first but after 4-5 wears they are starting to loosen. I have worn them in icy, snow conditions in alaska and they have pretty good grip. I have not worn them for long periods of time in below freezing temperatures yet but they keep my feet warm when I’m out and about, and in and out of the cold between errands. I’m considering other colors because I love them so much.

A let down
I'm usually a 7.5/8. Size 8 felt too big. Size 7.5 too small. These boots were so hard to get on, and then rubbed in all the wrong places. Incredibly uncomfortable, which is a shame because they are so cute. Sorel also doesn't pay for return labels so trying on two different sizes means I lost money on these returns.
