What It Is

Phyto-Khol Star is a long-lasting waterproof eyeliner pencil that stands up to all tests, including rain, humidity, heat, tears, exertion, perspiration and sebum. The Matte version can be used as a pencil or kohl.

  • What It Does

    The pencil provides a pure and intense color in a single line for an intensified, flawless look hour after hour. The formula offers exceptional comfort and softness to help take care of the eyelids' delicate skin. The creamy and firm tip offers a unique glide and ensures perfect definition with extreme precision. The automatically retractable pencil features an integrated pencil sharpener.

  • Key Ingredients

    - Rosehip oil nourishes while providing softness and comfort.
    - Bisabolol of natural origin soothes.
    - Vitamin E acetate is anti-free radical.

  • Shades

    16 shades with multiple effects that give intensity to the look.

  • How To Use It

    Twist to slightly extend the tip of the pencil. Place the pencil along the upper lash line and trace a line along the length of the eyelid. Adapt the thickness and shape of the line to achieve the desired look.
    Only the Matte formula may be used along the waterline. Avoid the waterline with Mystic & Sparkling Shades.

Allergic Reaction Warning

I really wanted to love this eyeliner, but unfortunately it caused a severe allergic reaction for me. Within a few hours of applying it, my eyes became red, irritated, and extremely heavy and swollen. Something I’ve never experienced with other brands. I’m not sure which ingredient triggered it, but if you have sensitive skin or eyes, please do a patch test first. The formula looked great on paper, but it didn’t work for me at all. I hope the brand reviews the ingredients and considers creating a more sensitive-friendly version, because the texture and color payoff were otherwise beautiful. Just sharing my experience so others with sensitivities can be careful. 👁️💛

Shade got me!

Today is my first day using this eyeliner. It is a little patchy on one lid. I have the blue, which is very intense. I usually wear another high end eyeliner. I will keep using it-perhaps I need a little practice. Very expensive-way more than my other high end product.

Nice product

Despite it being a little pricey, this eyeliner is definitely worth the price. I love how you don't need to sharpen it and it goes on so smoothly due to the khol being soft. The range of colours is great for different eye colours and shapes. I definitely recommend this eyeliner 10/10 as someone who has Mac, kiko and many others.

Truly Water and Tear Proof

As a blonde, I feel I have to paint myself into existence rather than remain faded. These eyeliners, along with the Chanel brand, are truly water and tear-proof. They are expensive for the very short length of the active ingredient, but they will hold for a full day while others do not. I’ve tried them all.

Best Eyeliners

I love these eyeliners. I own several colors. I own the mystic blue, mystic purple, matte peacock, and sparkling blue. They apply really nicely and last a long time on my eyes.

More colours please

I purchased these eyeliners in two different colours and can see why they are so highly rated. I am very unlikely to by a different brand of eyeliner again, despite them being expensive. The convenience of it being self sharpening is in itself a great advantage over other liners. And the fine point makes application so easy, plus it smudges nicely. I would love to see more colours added to this range.
