Beautiful sweater but very cropped and wide

Beautiful sweater, but way too cropped for me. Love the color and quality of the fabric. Soft and pretty, but I'm short with a short torso and it was still unwearable b/c of how cropped and wide it was. I'm only 5'2" so I can often buy tops that are slightly cropped and they hit me at my waist, but this didn't work. It just didn't hang well.
