Not a long term fan, electronics burn out.

Not happy at all. The electronic receiver on both fans stopped working (The Remote cannot control the fan). The first one stopped working in the first months and lamps plus replaced. The second stopped working two days ago and is right outside of the 1 year warranty. I am still going to call but I am not hopeful.

Bigger Is Better

We just bought this fan for an outdoor patio. It is a very nice fan, but we got the 52" model and the movement of air on our patio is not what I was hoping for. This fan also comes in a 60", which is what I wish we had bought. I guess the lesson is by a bigger fan than you think you will need. If it too much for your space, you can always turn the speed down.

Happy with Wynd and Modern Forms

I've been on a tear installing ceiling fans in all the rooms for the summer. I just got our first Modern Forms fan and I'm contemplating taking all the other ones down (others are all Casa - Lamps Plus in-house brand) and getting Modern Forms fans to replace them. Why? 1. The fan moves a LOT of air. The 52" Wynd moves noticeably more air than our 56" Casa Como. I can run this at a lower speed and feel very comfortable. 2. The connectivity is awesome. I use Home Assistant and after getting the fan on my wifi (which did require installing the Modern Forms app) the fan just worked (I do suggest a static IP or IP reservation since HA connects via IP). If all you want to use is the app, you're also in luck because it's a very well designed app. 3. The light is REALLY bright. 4. The fan looks very nice. It doesn't look cheap or plastic-y at all. Overall, I'd highly recommend this fan!

Bad remotes = useless fan

Avoid this fan, the remotes don't work. The manufacturer will not help you get a properly functioning remote.
