My family loves these bowls! I just ordered more so that we don’t have to hand wash them in-between dishwasher cycles. Guests often ponder the oval shape! The New Cottage collection is understated elegance.

Very nice oval shape bowls!

Purchased the bowls to go with The New Cottage dishes/set. So glad I did, goes very well with the rest of the set. Pretty looking oval shape bowls ,perfect for cereal, rice, soup, or other condiments:). Happy with my purchase. Arrived in 2 days with my dish set, was packed well, no damage. Thank you.

Lovely shade of warm white, just right

In contrast to one of the other reviewers, I was pleased that it was more of a warm/creamy white (by no means brown! as that reviewer stated.) I really wanted a warm white without those cold gray tones that you see sometimes, and this is the perfect color. Not a stark white, but if you appreciate warmth this is a nice choice. If you hold it up to a sheet of printer paper, it will appear slightly creamy; if you put it next to anything that is not white, it will appear white itself.

Perfect bowl

My bowls are a perfect size for so any things like soup, cereal and chilli. They are a really nice shape and have a modern look.

Porcelain Oval Rice Bowl

Over the holidays I bought sets of the New Cottage dinnerware. I am very happy with the 'creamy' feel of the plates and dishes. They are light weight and substantial at the same time. The oval shape of the rice bowl is fun and comfortable to hold. It doesn't stack well in the dishwasher but will probably fare better over the years being set individually in the racks.
