Packaging not inspected prior to shipping

I purchased these as a bridal shower gift (from a registry). While the glasses were fine, the box for the glasses had been ripped and repaired with tape. I think this is something that should have been caught prior to shipping. If you're presenting someone with a gift from their wedding registry, then you don't want to give a box all banged up and repaired with tape. Something to think about if ordering online.

These glasses are light and delicate. I use them for white wine as well. Definitely a good buy. I enjoy using them.
