INFO NOT CORRECT

I bought this coat last year and followed care directions (above) and dry cleaned. My coat was ruined. Mackage website states DO NOT DRY CLEAN, but, unfortunately, I followed Bloomingdales care instructions and ruined my coat. Bloomingdales will not replace, so I am out an expensive coat. Please update so other customers do not have this same problem.

The 2022 versus 2012 versions ofF Freya are differ

The 2022 version of the Mackage Freya differs substantially from the 2021 version. Some will applaud the changes, others not so much. I almost bought this last year, and regretted I didn't. But this year it just looked -- different. First, and most obvious, because of problems with the silver material in the hood, Mackage swapped it out for plain black (or the same color of the rest pf the coat, whatever it might be). Second, the coat just did not look as puffy to me. Some reviews complained that the coat was too puffy. Mackage changed to a 800 fill power insulation, that makes the coat lighter but not as puffy. Third, most of the leather is gone. Only the leather zipper pull is still leather. And fourth the price went from $850 to $950. Mackage confirmed these changes when I phoned them. Well I may be in the minority but I really liked the silver and the puffiness. The new version seems bland and nothing special. So I have been searching all over for a 2021 model in my size. Perhaps you will prefer the new model. Just be aware that the reviewers are talking about the 2021 model, not the one on sale now.

Lightweight and warm

Lightweight and warm . Much lighter than my Canada goose jackets and just as warm. Love the pull strings to make your waist defined.
