Short life

Purchased this April 4th and it has lasted 6 weeks. Last time I used it I noticed a little rubber gasket floating in the water tank. I removed the tank and when I did the spring mechanism that controls the water fell out. I tried to put it back together but was unable to. I would not recommend this product.

Makes great iced tea. The on/off button was a little temperamental but I figured out it takes a firm push.

Attractive Safe Ice Tea Maker

Attractive safe ice tea maker: After my spouse almost set the house afire using a pan of water to make tea, we decided to buy an ice tea maker. Our first one lasted less than one year. This one is a different brand and we are hoping it lasts longer. We use it every day. It makes nice dark tea that can have water added. The glass pitcher makes us a bit nervous but fits well in the refrigerator.

Doesn’t work

Brewed the first pitcher of just water to clean it and it stopped working. Never got to make a pitcher of tea with it.

morning tea drinker

I love this tea maker! It makes a perfect pot every time!! I keep the brew setting on medium with 2 medium sizzed bags of tea and it's always great. All parts are also dishwasher safe, so that's a bonus. It was a great replacement for my old one that stopped working
