Heavy Cork Screw

Too heavy, bulky, and awkward. I’ll keep it but I would have preferred something different as I find it difficult to get the screw down into the cork. I’m starting to really prefer screw tops.

Failed to extract entire cork.

When fully extended the corkscrew can only penetrate half of cork. The other half of the cork remains stuck in the bottleneck.

Corkscrew defect

This was a warranty replacement, and the 2nd time the steel? pin holding the corkscrew itself to the frame sheared off in normal use. Clearly a defect in design or manufacturing. We have a lot of other OXO products that have generally been great. This corkscrew isn’t.

This is my second one, the first one broke after opening 100s of bottles and you stood by your product and replaced it free of charge! Now that’s how a company should operate.
