I’ve been using the OXO Steel Salad Spinner and it works extremely well. The spinning mechanism is smooth and efficient, drying lettuce and greens quickly without damaging them. I really like the sturdy stainless steel bowl, which feels durable and looks great on the counter. The brake button is very convenient, and the overall design is easy to use and clean. It’s a high-quality kitchen tool that makes salad prep much easier, and I would definitely recommend it.

Damaged box
Disappointing I ordered as gift and the box came damaged. I have no choice but to give it, but it’s disappointing that customer service has gone down hill in terms of quality control. I did curb side pickup for this item and didn’t check the bags that the employee gave me until I got home and was wrapping to head to party. I now feel bad for the person I’m giving this gift to because they are getting a gift that looks like it was a reject/fell off truck.
Great product!
The design of this salad spinner is great. It's not too hard on your hands. It can hold a lot of salad. Cleaning is easy and pulls apart real nice. And very durable.

Great and does the job

A once excellent product ruined
There’s been a very annoying redesign of a previously excellent item. The old version had a point built into the base of the bowl; the strainer spins on that point. The new version has a flat-bottomed bowl, with the pivot point built into a removable plastic disc which sits in the bottom of the bowl. The problem is that the plastic disc traps food and liquid underneath itself, and has to be removed to get the bowl perfectly clean. Also, the disc falls out whenever the bowl is turned over, and is difficult to remove for cleaning—it’s an entirely unnecessary complication.

Best produce cleaner!
Best produce cleaner! I love how fast you can wash produce. The basket is big enough so you can fit a whole head of lettuce, and still have room. Easy to clean too!
