Wrong shoe sizes

I can’t believe it wasnt busy when I purchased On Cloud children shoes and its been a week . I decided to wrap the gift for Christmas. Only to find out one shoe is different from the other in size. So now we have to go back in the hopes there is another one . Need to check when we pay. Is it my job ?? What if I didnt happen to look . I just happen to want to wrap Christmas gifts alot earlier
