Piling trouble
I got this car seat a couple months ago as an avid maxi cosi lover. I have to say I’m disappointed at the piling that comes from the seat. We keep the seat very very clean and my daughter loves it but the material does not hold up very well.

To all mamas/ dadas this is a need!
my two boys have always been a maxi così baby! We love how maxi così is always dedicated to keeping our babies safe! i highly recommend all of their products! i also love how you can easily pop the car seat cover in the washer! Maxi cosi really does carry the future! This is the one for any mamas/ or dadas looking! From birth to 10 years old!!

Horrible Fabric (would be 5* but disappointing)
I have been using this car seat since November (2024)- so only a couple months, and my daughter loves it because it is very comfortable, cushiony, and spacious, HOWEVER, the fabric is pilling so horribly!! We keep our seat very clean and I take very good care of it, so I can’t understand how this seat is already starting to fall apart- especially so soon and at this price point! I was hoping to use it as my little one grows (she’s only 18 months) but I don’t even know if it’ll last that long. If the fabric was better quality, this would be a five star car seat, especially with the pure cosi fabric! So it is safe to say, I am disappointed! Pictures from our first day of use to today to show the poor fabric.

BUY IT
I’ve had this car seat for 4 years now and I am absolutely obsessed with it. My daughter is now 5 and we will be using it for another few years. I cannot recommend this car seat enough. Way better than the Nuna and Uppababy car seats. So easy to clean (I have the cream one) and so easy to install. She is comfortable in it on long car rides and it’s easy for me to get her in and out of the seat.

Sharp plastic!!!
As grandparents we chose to have a car seat ourselves to make it easier to pick up our grandchildren as needed. Overall a good car seat, the finish on the plastic parts is weak. Where you have to reach to put a seatbelt or other securing parts be ready to scratch your hands on the sharp unfinished plastic.

Very unstable
The rear high strap connects to an anchor point typically on the rear of the seat. To tighten said strap, instead of pulling away (giving you maximum leverage) you must awkwardly force the strap downwards where the locking pin interferes with getting it to synch. The side anchor straps is actually one strap that has 3 tails, making it impossible to tighten all 3 directions causing sloppiness in seat-to-car connection and extremely dangerous if the vehicle experiences any whipping motion.

Awesome features
Wow this is an amazing car seat! It has so many features that my infant car seat didn't have so I'm blown away by all the features. The assist EZ out harness makes putting the baby in so much easier and I don't have to poke around looking for the straps stuck under the baby. The comfort level is also amazing; there is plenty of soft padding including the infant pillow and the region where the belt buckle is also padded to provide extra comfort. The shoulder harness also has pads so the belt doesn't dig into the baby. One of the best parts of the car seat is the magnetic chest lock. It took me a couple tries but it can actually be unclamped with one hand which is awesome when you have the baby in the other hand. The car seat material is awesome and can be removed for easy washing. The only thing I would change is making the car seat slimmer in general for people who have compact cars. I own a smaller 4-door car so this car seat works fine when it's forward facing but a little bit challenging to put the baby in when used rear facing. Other than that, this is a great car seat and very comfortable. I received this Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

easy install!!
i thought the installation would be a lot more complicated from reading reviews to ton of other brands of how hard installing a car seat could be, but it was honestly one of the most fastest and easiest literally took 5 min or less! however the only downfall is it does have a funky chemical smell. which i read. so im letting it air out in hopes the smell goes away before i put my little one in it! but besides that i love it!
