Cute bag but handles are absolutely horrible

I was really shocked when I received three items in a box that included this handbag. Someone had actually folded it into quarters, and stuffed it in a small box with a couple other items. I thought for sure the bag would be ruined, but I learned that it will probably pack well, as this didn’t seem to damage the bag, but was quite a risky way to send it. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and the quality of the bag itself is very nice. The problem is the handles. If these are actually leather, it is the hardest, scratchiest, non-pliable, uncomfortable, leather handles I’ve ever experienced especially at this price point. I really love the bag and would hate to return it just for that one reason, but it would be so uncomfortable to wear. I think I might go to a leather guy in my neighborhood and see if anything could be done to soften these up and make it comfortable to carry. if not, then I will just have to return. This is really too bad.

Tight weave and fabric lining

The size, design and basic colors along with decorative little balls and quality leather straps caught my eye at the Bloomingdales in Fashion Square. I have been looking for a summer bag that held all the items I need but was not too large to carry. I love the bag and have gotten good positive comments.

Hard handles

Beautiful bag however the handles are “hard leather”. Due to the fact I will use this with summer tanks and straps dresses I had to return it.
